D. Heather Heath. M.D., F.A.C.S. is a board certified ophthalmologist specializing in cataract surgery and diseases of the eye.
Dr. Heath is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and is a Fellow of the American College of Eye Surgeons.
She was graduated at the top of her class from the University of Miami School of Medicine. At Miami she was president of the Alpha Omega Alpha National Honor Society. Her undergraduate work was completed at Duke University. She was graduated Magna Cum Laude. Dr. Heath completed her residency in ophthalmology at Duke University School of Medicine.

Dr. Heath is active in our community Girl Scouts and her church. In 1996, she was the recipient of the Women of Distinction Gold Award presented by the Suncoast Girl Scout Council. She and her husband have three children.
